Feodosiya Hang Gliding Museum

The world's first and Europe's only hang gliding museum is located in Feodosiya, Crimea, Ukraine.

The museum of Hang Gliding is situated in the center of Feodosiya, at 12 Kuibisheva Street. There you can see a great exposition about the history of the hang gliders and learn about their inventer.

There you can see a real model of an early glider as well as a modern one. The hang glider museum guide will tell you many interesting facts about this kind of sport, its champions and so on.

The Hang Gliding museum was the first of its kind in the world. An interesting fact from the history of the museum is that during the Soviet period the city municipality tried to close down this museum because as they said it wasn't making any money. But then they found some information that it was the only museum of its type in the world. That is why they were afraid to close down the museum.

Some time later in the USA a similar museum appeared and then the Feodosiyan museum became the only one in Europe.

Open: 10.00-18.00 (Monda to Friday) and 10:00-15.00 (Saturday)

Entrance Fee: 10 UAH for adults, 5 UAH for children. Every visitor gets a free guided tour in the museum.
