2012 UEFA European Football Championships - Accomodation in Feodosia
With so many great reasons already to holiday in Feodosia and the Ukraine, things will get even more exciting in the summer of 2012 when Ukraine co-hosts the UEFA European Football Championships with Poland.
2012 will be the 14th UEFA European Football Championships and the championship was awarded to the Ukraine and Poland jointly by UEFA in April 2007 - with Poland and the Ukraine successfully fighting off rival bids from Italy and Hungary/ Croatia.
It is hoped, and we believe that this major sporting event represents a great opportunity for the Ukraine and those who wish to visit the country in the future. The contest will be being hosted in Eastern Europe for the first time and will also be the final contest with only 16 participating teams before the Championship expands to reflect a larger Europe with 24 teams in 2016. It will be a historic contest in many ways!
Ukrainian competition fixtures will be played in the capital Kiev and the city of Donetsk. Both of these destinations can be reached easily by coach or by train from Feodosia so why not combine your European Championship dreams with a relaxing holiday on the Black Sea coast? You will never be far from the action and can relax beside the sea when your team is not playing.
We will be able to assist you in planning any aspect of your holiday to the Ukraine including information about the European Football Championships and travel within the Ukraine and The Crimea.
